San Alfonso de Betxí
The San Alfonso de Betxí cooperative renews its management system with the help of technological partner Aritmos

“We were looking for a technology provider which could understand in detail how the citrus sector works: only Aritmos gave us the confidence we needed”.

“The classifications of fruit, the citrus stock… in fact, the enormous number of simultaneous operations to be handled every day in San Alfonso is one of the main complexities facing our company. For this reason, the management system in the enterprise has to deal with these “specific problems” and ensure global coordination in the cooperative”. After installing the powerful ERP Sage X3, verticalized and parameterized by Aritmos, the systems director of the San Alfonso de Betxí cooperative was confident of being able to optimise productivity and competitiveness in this citrus fruit centre, so that future professional challenges affecting the sector can be tackled with assurance.

As Juan Cabeza says, “we had confidence in Aritmos because, in addition to having worked for years with companies throughout the fruit and vegetable sector, they understood in detail the specific features and flexibility that we need for some of the operating processes in a citrus fruit cooperative such as San Alfonso”. Aritmos's knowledge and experience with other industries in the sector and large investment in R&D&I meant that San Alfonso went for Sage X3, a tool verticalized by Aritmos.

Enric Trullols, Aritmos Software Consultant Director, in charge of developing ERP applications for fruit and vegetable industries in Spain, confirms Cabeza's impressions. “We believe in specialization. Only a technology which understands that every client is different will be able to satisfy the demands of each one's industry, however large or small it may be. That is why the capacity to verticalize and parameterize software is fundamental to achieving maximum efficiency” says Trullols.

Juan Cabeza, systems director of the San Alfonso de Betxí cooperative, chose an ERP software solution of the latest generation to optimize the management system of this central citrus enterprise in Valencia. Their technology provider Aritmos installed the Sage X3 solution in the cooperative and used its knowledge of the sector to provide a tool which would answer the needs of San Alfonso.
